In line with the objectives of the International Conference on Architecture, Settlement and Urban Identity in the Persian Gulf Region, “ Museum Exhibition of persian Gulf “ plans to demonstrate Artifacts and documents dating back to various periods of the history found in the afore mentioned area and other historical sites related to the civilizations and governors of the persian gulf region .
These areas include the northern parts of the Persian Gulf namely, the Iranian provinces of Khuzestan, Hormuzgan , Bushehr and Sistan, central Iran, existing islands as well as southern regions . Also, in line with the objectives of the exhibition, attention has been paid to the civilizations that were not themselves situated adjacent to persian Gulf but influenced the region’s civilizations or was ruled by the same governors .
During this exhibition reports on recently completed or on-going field work and new research of archeology will be demonstrated in the form of posters , videos or multi-media package including underwater archeology excavation which has been started in the last 3 years and provided the experts with new evident of the historic settlements identity .

Objectives:
Visitors will have the opportunity to become closely familiar with the history of art, architecture, housing , cultural identity of the human settlements , ancient civilizations as well as the authorities ruled in the region of Persian Gulf.
Sources Used in Producing the Models:
Information gathered from reliable sources including documents obtained from top famous museums of the world (the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the British Museum, the Louvre Museum, the State Hermitage Museum, the National Museum of Iran and etc.), documents represented by researchers and professionals in relevant fields of study and museum curators .
Panel of Experts:
Our panel of experts including scholar's of international reputes comprise but not limited to:
- Dr. Pirooz Mojtahedzadeh, Chairman of Urosevic Research Foundation of London. He is known for his contribution to the studies of Iran and the issues of the Middle East and its two adjacent regions; The Persian Gulf and the Caspian-Central Asia. He completed his Ph.D. in Political Geography at Oxford (1979) and London (1993) universities and has lectured extensively in Europe, North America, Middle East and Far East, and has contributed extensively to international media.

Prof Robin Coningham, the Pro-Vice Chancellor and Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health .He holds a Chair in Archaeology in the Department of Archaeology.
- Rasool Bashash, Recieved his Master’s degree in the Ancient Languages and Cultures from the University of Tehran, 1985.
-Acting director of the Research Department of the Languages and Dialects affiliated to Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization.
- Director of the Institute of the Linguistics, Ancient Inscriptions and Texts
- Department Chair of the Ancient Languages and Texts.

-Launching a project to archive the Pre-Islamic Inscriptions

- Behrouz Marbaghi, born in 1953 is a well-known researcher in the “Architecture of Bushehr” in Iran. As an architect and urban designer, he is involved in a dozen of architectural and revitalization projects in “Old Boushehr” and “Siraf”. Recently, he has been honored to coordinate the projects for “Sustainable Regeneration of Historical Siraf”.
Teaching in university, he has an active role in promoting the sustainable architecture and design in Iranian dailies and periodicals. Collaborating with some other architects, he has published books on theoretical bases of architecture.

Professional activities and researches:
-Master’s degree in architecture, National University of Iran (Melli University) 1979
-Translating, editing and publishing the book, “Iranian Garden, a Reflection of the Heavens”
- Preparing a comprehensive research plan and multimedia on more than 100 heritage works titled, “The Splendors of Iran” in collaboration with Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization.

Digital Museum Exhibition:
Given the vast diversity of the artifacts , inscriptions and other documents related to the art and settlement identity in the region and the limitation to bring all of them to the exhibition, images along with required information , videos and multimedia documents are projected in another section of the exhibition called the Digital Museum.
In this case virtual museum and the real museum are combined together to make an integrated display of evident and documents .
Visitors:
Participants of the Seminar – Since the Small Museum Exhibition is held on the sideline of “the International Conference on Architecture, Settlement and Urban Identity in the Persian Gulf Region”, the conference participants are considered as the main visitors of the exhibition.
Other Participants - Given the exhibition is held in a cultural and touristic part of London and a comprehensive publicity and promotion for the exhibition has been carried out in different parts of the city particularly at the British Museum, many people are expected to visit it.
